August- Cook Reunion at Craig's Cabin

We all love to go with my Mom and Dad to Craig's Cabin up the canyon.  This year they had added a VERY TALL swing that ws a hit with all the kids (and parents too:)

This picture doesn't really do it justice- it is probably 30 feet tall and you swing off a steep hill into the air- about 20 feet up.  I was nervous trying to hold Em on :)

We had tons of snow cones- made by Aunt Krys and Uncle Blaine :)

July- the busist month of the summer . . .

And I took hardly any pictures :)  I think I kept forgetting to charge my camara battery.  Anyway, we had the 4th celebrations, week long family camp (it also takes a week to pack and a week to unpack and wash everything:), Ute Stampede parade, reunion at Fish Lake, a couple of birthdays and our Town's 24th celebration.

Yearly tradition- red, white and blue sparkle toes.

May 2013

May is always a crazy busy month, but it makes the beginning of summer all the more special!

Haven played soccer again- she loves it!

Em graduated PreSchool- on to Kindergarten!  She is beyond ready.

Grey wanted a camping/hunting cake- this is what I came up with.

I can't believe he is 3 years old!  Such a big boy.

The girls all took ballet this year- what beautiful ballerinas!

April 2013- Haven's Baptism

These two cute cousins are the best of friends.  They were born only six weeks apart so we thought it fitting that they get baptized together.  It was such a special day, most of our families were able to be here, they had a great Italian dinner and sweet cupcakes for dessert, and such a lovely program up at the Spring.  Thank you to everyone who helped us out and shared this special day with us!

March 2013- Spring Break

For Spring Break this year we took the kids to the Zoo and to the movie The Croods.  It was such a fun and relaxing day!  Greg and I both LOVE to take our kids on vacations and little mini fun days!  Sometimes we are made fun of because we do not go on many dates or trips with just the two of us.  All I can say is that while we know that is important to do once in a while, we only have our kids in our care for such a short time and we want to make the best of it!  We truly love spending time with them and showing them places we went when we were growing up and they are such good travelers that it is never a burden.  We always remember the saying, "The days are long, but the years are short."  So true!  We are truly blessed with these precious gifts from our Heavenly Father and couldn't be any happier :)
