Oni's big day!

Oni's first day of Kindergarten- what a big girl she is! She is loving school- already her favorite part is riding the bus, snack time, & recess- go figure:) Havie was so funny- I thought she would miss Oni more, but the first day we took Oni to the bus she came right home and put on the ONE dress-up dress that Oni NEVER lets her wear. I was laughing so hard at how fast she figured out that she can have whatever she wants for 3 hours of the day:) Every day they give each other hugs and say they miss each other when she gets home though:)

I am sad that the summer is coming to an end but ready at the same time. You can only take the kids swimming so many times:) I am also really ready to quit dragging the sprinkler around the lawn so much- how I wish for a sprinkling system:)

Gotta love family reunions:)

We had our annual Lofley Reunion at Craig's Cabin up the canyon this year and the girls had SO much fun. We missed the families that couldn't be there!

Dad & Jacer built a water slide on the hill that the kids (& some adults:) played on for hours. Oni told me on the ride home that Grandpa shouldn't have put it on rocks because it was too bumpy. It wasn't on any rocks:)
There was also a creek that the kids played in a lot- with some swings above the water.

Well- I think that's a wrap. I always love to visit with this side of my family because I am reminded once again of what a great lady my Grandma Lofley is (& my aunts, uncles, cousins) and what a great legacy we are all a part of.

August 2008

Just to let everyone know- Greg is now the Elder's Quorum President and out of Young Men's. I am actually happy about this, even though it is a pretty big calling, because now we both won't have to do stuff with the youth on Tuesday nights- YEAH! It was getting hard finding someone to watch the girls- since Marcia and Murrell are on their mission and we didn't always want to be a bother to our other family here.

We have been having a lot of water fun this summer- the girls love the Slip n' Slide and the pool. They had some of their cousins over the other day to swim and had a blast. Em has been crawling ALL over the place for a couple of weeks now. All the sudden life just got a lot more difficult. The girls are having to learn to keep their tiny toys off the floor and we are trying to teach her how to handle stairs:)
