Easter 2012

Easter weekend was a lot of fun as usual. The Easter Bunny came of course, we had an egg hunt and rolled eggs down the hill, and we had a cousins birthday party.  We also have had two Family Home Evenings about Easter the last couple of weeks- trying to drill in the real reason we celebrate Easter:)  It is so neat to hear how much our girls know about Jesus and his death and Resurrection.  I'm so thankful that instead of just hearing from us all the time they get to learn from their teachers at church and in Primary.  It really does take a village to raise children and I am so thankful for our little Town Village and Family Village- we are truly so blessed.
When Em was watching "The Lamb of God" video she looked at me and said, "Mom- I think this is going to make me cry."  And I told her it makes me cry every time I watch it too, but that just means we know and understand how important it is what Jesus did for us.  Anya and Haven kept looking at me like; "Mom- what are you making us watch?"  because it is so sad and heartbreaking to see.  I think it is important that they actually SEE what Jesus went through and not just hear the stories- it makes it even more real to them.
On a side note- I have finally updated with a few new posts so keep on scrolling:)  Hope all of your Easter Holiday's were great!

Anya is 9!

Thank you to all her family who spoiled her with presents- she loves them all:)

She wanted to design and decorate her own cake- like Haven.  I guess I am out of a job with my two oldest now:)

She is getting so grown up:)
We love you so much Anya and are SO proud of the beautiful girl you are and who you are becoming every day.  You are SO smart, funny, helpful, talented and so much more:)  We are so grateful you get to be a part of our fun family- it wouldn't be the same without you.  Thank you for all you do in helping Mom out!  Love ya On Bon:)

What Grey is up to these days

Can't go anywhere without a tractor, car, train, motorbike, etc . . .

Was such a BIG helper in flying Haven's new kite:)  He giggled and screamed the whole time and tried to chase it down.

Loves to get in the bread and take whatever amount he thinks he needs and squish it all up:)

Such a cute and funny boy!

Flying Haven's New Kite

Haven was a Chicken for the 1st grade play- she had a lot of lines and did great!

She got this beautiful kite for her birthday:)

You can tell she LOVES it:)
We didn't have much luck flying it because the weather was so sporadic- it would go from barely windy, to very windy, to nothing at all- within in a couple of minutes.  It sure was fun trying though- we got quite a few laughs out of it.  Especially when it would dive bomb one of us:)
